Sundays at TPC start at 9:30am with worship. Worship at Trinity is purposefully simple, Biblically-driven, and Christ-centered. No frills. Just Christ. Theologically rich hymns and songs. Bible reading. Praying.
Once a month, we observe communion at the end of the worship service.
Church usually ends around 10:45am. After church we have a time of fellowship before Sunday School.
We offer a professionally staffed nursery for children 3 years and under during church and Sunday School.
Programs do not drive our church; thus, Sunday is flexible during holidays or in times of celebration or grief.
Our children learn from curriculum called "One Story Ministries" (www.onestoryministries.com). It is a richly Biblical, Christ-centered, gospel-affirming, deeply thoughtful, and very accessible curriculum. We have a Preschool/Kindergarten/1st & 2nd grade class and a middle school class for your children.
We also have a Junior High/High School class for older children. We cover books such as Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and The Doctrines of Grace: Student Edition by Shane P. Lems.
Student classes are held in the classrooms behind the sanctuary.
Adults meet in the sanctuary for Sunday School. The classes focus on various subjects that aid in spiritual growth and maturity.
What to Expect
You will be greeted, but not overwhelmed. We are a small family and treat newcomers as if they've come to our home for dinner.
You can sit wherever. We have no reserved pews.
You can wear whatever - provided your attire does not violate the laws of the state of Mississippi :)
You can relax. Socially, economically, and politically, we are a mixed bag. The Cross Of Christ is our unifying love.
